  • 2 chicken breasts boneless and skinless
  • 8 oz whole wheat pasta
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes halved
  • 1 cup spinach fresh
  • 1/2 cup low-sodium chicken broth
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream or Greek yogurt
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh basil for garnish

Instructions
 

Cook the Pasta:

  • In a large pot, cook the whole wheat pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
